Is anyone else watching Sunday Night Football on NBC right now? I am completely dumbfounded by their apparent week-long campaign called "Green Is Universal."
In an effort to raise awareness for global warming, they have turned off all the lights in the studio and are shooting in the dark by candlelight. It is the most absurdly pathetic thing I have seen yet in this mind-blowing anti-humanity hysteria.
And aren't they being a little hypocritical? I mean, why not just play the football game in the dark? How many watts are they burning out there right now? Or should we just ban all night games altogether? Monday Night Football producers would certainly understand, I'm sure. It's all about saving the planet, right boys?
Will someone please STOP THE INSANITY!!!!!

LA-- I found this Fred Thompson article today. I'm interested in your thoughts.
I think obviously the author of the article is not a Thompson fan, as most news media has not been. He used the word "meandering" twice, which to me indicates a desire to prove that Thompson is lazy, boring, and would make a lousy president. Completely unbiased.
Granted, I wish that Fred was doing more to sell himself. He has great little clips on the Internet, but in them he is in his zone, in front of a camera.
Honestly, I can't say at this point whether he really wants to be President. I can't imagine doing everything it takes to enter such a race without a desire to win. I think his methods are definitely unconventional, but I kind of like that about him. He's not all politician, all the time.
The others are very involved in playing the game. Because of this, they may slaughter him. I can tell you that living in Tennessee, there are Fred bumper stickers EVERYWHERE. But unfortunately we don't have an early primary. He may completely flop in New Hampshire. We'll find out soon enough.
All I know is that on the issues, I allign myself with Fred most closely of any of the candidates. I think he's a solid conservative. He seems to know what he stands for, and doesn't have a problem standing for it. For those reasons, I support him now.
I'd say there's a 75-80% chance Rudy will be our nominee. While I have problems with him, I can without a doubt say that I'd rather have him be our next President than the Missus.
The whole thing is kind of depressing at this point, isn't it?
how much electricity do you suppose they are using to power the cameras and sound equipment?
